Are you interested in becoming an Assessor?
Assessors are officials who are responsible for evaluating assessments in the STAR 6-Gold structure. Assessors are qualified to assess in one or more disciplines.
We're looking for individuals 15+ with a skating background of: 2 Jr Bronze (STAR 5) tests/assessments in Free Skate, Skills, or Dance, or any one Sr Bronze (STAR 6) test/assessment in Free Skate, Skills or Dance, or a Juvenile competitive test, or any higher test/assessment. Participants will also need to complete the STAR 6-GOLD introduction e-module and the Skate Canada code of ethics online module. The Clinic will be taking place at the Sport NL Office in St. John's on Saturday, April 27th. To register, please email jane_obrien88@hotmail.com by April 19th, 2024.

Skate Canada Newfoundland and Labrador (SCNL) Clubs and Skating Schools offer a wide variety of skater development programs for all skill levels. For beginning skaters, our Clubs and Skating Schools are proud to offer Skate Canada's CanSkate and CanPowerSkate programs, which have nationally tested and proven curriculums and delivery methods for skaters interested in figure skating, hockey or ringette.
