Have you thought about becoming a Judge/Evaluator?

Judge/Evaluators, or Officials, are typically former skaters, who have had a positive experience and wish to help others attain their goals. For skaters who are continuing their education or have career goals outside skating, this is a great way to stay involved in the sport. You will meet many people with similar interests and backgrounds and develop a whole new network of friends. Judging and Evaluating is fun and rewarding.

What can Clubs do to help recruit more Judges/Evaluators?

Speak to:

  • Senior skaters in your club who may be interested.
  • Former skaters who are no longer part of your club may have an interest.
  • Former skaters who are in or have completed college or university.
  • Parents from your club that may have been former skaters.
  • Former or retired coaches.

Clubs are encouraged to take an active role to recruit judges/evaluators.
